  2. Gently lift your gaze.
    Slowly look out toward the horizon in front of you. Let your eyes relax. No straining or focusing—just soft seeing.

  3. Let your eyes wander.
    Allow your gaze to move around the space, letting your eyes land on whatever feels pleasant or neutral. Maybe it’s the light filtering through a window, a tree moving in the breeze, or the shape of a shadow on the wall.

  4. Notice what feels good.
    When your eyes find something they like—stay with it.
    Let your body take in the colors, textures, or beauty. There’s no rush. Just let your system absorb the “okay-ness” of this moment.

  5. Breathe.
    As you look, take a few slow breaths. Maybe even place a hand on your heart or belly. Let the message land in your body:
    I am here. I am safe. I don’t have to be on high alert right now.
